Strongly believing in entrepreneurship as the means to create true change in our world, Daniel has a multi-level approach and holds several positions…but if you ask him, he has one single job: making entrepreneurship truly accessible to a broad audience. 

Entrepreneur 

Daniel is co-founder of AustrianStartups (a non-profit to strengthen the entrepreneurial eco-system) and founding partner at the Vienna Mentoring Group (a mentoring program for early stage startups) and has co-founded several other ventures, including allaboutapps, a mobile development agency (a joint venture of runtastic and i5invest). 

University Lecturer 

Daniel lectures on entrepreneurship, pitching and mobile marketing at several universities including the Vienna University of Technology, the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and is a regular guest lecturer at several other universities. Also in 2018 he was invited to join the Future Leaders Program of the 15. Science and Technology in Society forum (STS forum) in Kyoto, Japan. 

Moderator 

He has hosted more than 250 events on startups and innovation including just recently (December 2020) he co-hosted Red Bull Basement, a global virtual event / TV / streaming format with 36 countries connected from all over the world.

Daniel has spoken to innovators, top executives and startups at Audi, Deutsche Bank, Lufthansa Technik, PWC, TEDx, Siemens, Peek & Cloppenburg, T-Mobile, Kapsch, Red Bull, Adidas, Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) and several others and at global conferences about startups, culture, transformation, pitching, innovation and corporate/startup collaboration. 

The Pitch Professor

He received the honorary title “The Pitch Professor” by the Vienna University of Technology and is considered as one of the leading experts and trainers on pitching in Europe with more than 300 trainings held both for startups and large corporations.
